I ordered this to burn incense resin and have been extremely happy with the results! It lights extremely fast and is slow burning. The heat was perfect as it burned the resin slower. So far I’ve found NO broken disks and when I’ve opened a roll inside the package is really clean! So far I’ve not found broken bits! As soon as I run out of all 100 disks I will definitely be ordering more!
Normally I buy a different brand of quick lights from another online supplier. They however are no longer allowed to sell anything smaller than a case using freight shipping. So I had to find another option and ended up with these. I use the quick lights in my travel hookah. They don’t seem to spark as much as the brand I was using before and while there is a slight insta-light taste it isn’t over wheeling to use with the travel hookah. The smell is a strong while lighting so make sure you light it outside or next to an open window. Wait until all the surface has grayed over before smoking. Overall these are pretty good coals. Are there better out there, yes, are their worse, defiantly.
These coals so far have been great for my resin incense burning.
Okay... I tried the rest and found the best! These baby's light with a match - one match! I'd resigned myself to using the heating element on my stove to get other brands lit - and that worked just fine. But Starlight, Quicklite coals perform as advertised - lighting instantly... well quick enough with just a small open flame. Actually - ya gotta watch it - I burned my finger before I could get the coal into the brassier. I'll use tongs next time.
One word here - as another reviewer points out - the chemistry involved would be reason for concern if you intend to use these as hooka/tobacco burners. Instead my interest is strictly resin incense.

Why can't someone make these in the US?
I bought this product to burn resin incense on, and was a little skeptical, but I must say that the charcoal lights very easily with a lighter has low odor and I am pleased with my purchase. I was using Fujima charcoal before this and this is way way better, up to par with 3kings quality!

I usually use natural coals when at home and when I have lots of time and dont mind waiting the 20 minutes to get everything ready.
These light in about 60 seconds and then you can light others off that one light coal.
They are small. There is a odd slightly unpleasant smell for about 20 seconds after lighting but that's to be expected with all quicklights. The burn time and temperature regulations rates above average, and coupled with their very cheap price I'd rate it as a good buy if you're looking for quicklights. If you want the best smoke possible, stick to the naturals but be aware they are most costly and take much longer to prepare.
These were good. I havent burnt them all yet, but the ones I have, they lit properly and burned evenly. Glad to get a quality product
Far as timing idk, I don’t smoke on them for long, maybe about 30-45mins and it’s still burning when I’m done.
I thought I would give these a try they are a bit smelly at first not sure I will use this brand again but they do burn nicely and light very well.
I use it for burning copay resin and other resins and incense. Easy to light and lasts about 30 min
