The tongs are long enough that I don't have to reach very far, and they are SENSITIVE enough where I can pick up a hot coal without crushing it and being unsure of my grip. When transporting hot coals, I do flip is sideways so the tongs are on the top and bottom of the coal.. this makes me feel more secure, since these tongs don't have teeth.
The round part of the tongs is great for patting down a shisha refill in a hot bowl.
These are worth every penny.
Most hookah tongs are kina flimsy and very short. Can get very uncomfortable when flipping coals on the burner. These are really long and super sturdy. Another great feature is that being wide and having flat tips, they can be used for more than just picking up coals. If you use a Lotus HMD, these tongs can slide into one of the slots on the bottom and you an easily and safely remove the Lotus from your bowl. There are similar tongs out there. But they are near 5X the price.

Love the look. Unlike any other hookah tongs I’ve use before. They’re usually cheaply made and break easily. This one is sturdy and has a long length so that you don’t get burned. A bonus is that it also removes the bowl which I have yet to see in other tongs.
