Bought one of these years ago and nobody had seen it and always were intrigued by it. I never used it for its original purpose but found lots of other uses. most people who saw it or saw me use it for whatever typically asked where I had got so they could get one. So I saw it and thought I would buy another since I have since list the last one. good quality, feels sturdy. Moves freely but not loose. As good as my original one which I was very happy with... I would buy again if necessary.

Great tool! I love the tamper, and friends always compliment how professional my bowls are. I use the straight "poker" tool to scrape and clean my bowl, and I'm pleased with how strong it is, it takes a lot of force to bend it. I actually purchased another one of these for my sister because I was so pleased with it!
It is a well made, simple device. It keeps me from burning my fingers when I have me a pipe. I'm sure there could be other good uses for it but for now, its a great inexpensive little tamper.
